Narendra Modi launched the Clean India Campaign. So in the Contest Week (2016) as part of the Creative design contest , the students made posters to promote this idea. This is one of the winning entries by Rhea Banerjee and Dyuti Ghosh of Class VIII.

In India we don’t respect talent and real life skills. All that we care about is high marks in exams and many meaningless degrees. So, in the 2015 Contest Week, as part of the Creative Design contest, the students tried to expose the pointlessness of rote-learning by designing posters. There are thousands of new schools, universities, IITs being built all around India. How many great personalities have emerge from those places? Isn’t there some wrong with India’s approach towards education. So, we were asked to make posters against Rote-Learning as a part the Creative design contest in Contest Week (2015). In our school, students love to read books. Unlike other kids of our age, who spend hours of their time doing something as unproductive as gaping at the TV screen, our kids like to explore the world of books instead. This ad was made by the senior students, Rhea Banerjee, and Dyuti Ghosh of Class VIII (2015) in an effort to persuade parents and children alike to abstain from television and spend their time doing something more meaningful such as reading.
Our school’s method of teaching is quite unconventional for a county such as India. We believe that education is meant to help us in real life, not to just pass exams.
